Samara enjoyed Christmas, especially the song Frosty the snowman. She still asks us to play it. Every time we asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her, she said, “more trains”. On Christmas morning, we asked her what she thought he brought, and she said, “more trains”. Thank goodness she didn’t want a play kitchen—that wouldn’t have packed nearly as well. We had a wonderful time with my family as well as Ben's brother and his family. We even got to see his sister who came up to go to Aspen Grove with her in-laws. We're grateful we were able to spend so much time with family before leaving the country.

Oh, now that Samara's talking, we should get the girls together on a Skype playdate to discuss Thomas. It's all they talk about. Even tonight, when Miriam was woken suddenly, all she could talk about was Mavis this and Mavis that. Blah blah Mavis Mavis Mavis.
