We went to our monthly "Adventures in Art" excursion to the MOA. The theme was centered around Christmas. They took the kids to a big painting called "Nativity" and surveyed it. The painting is very unique and not the normal take on the nativity.
Then we went to the art room so the kids could sketch and watercolor their own nativities. It was so sweet to see all the different renditions. I'm so glad we found such a fun free program!
The girl angel is red and boy is green. Apparently, the different genders have their own unique flight pattern. :) Actually, Samara just told me she drew them like that because she "didn't want them to look like they were playing tag."
Samara made me a clay nativity in art class and I adore it! She is still supposed to paint it but I even love unpainted.
She made baby Jesus to fit in both the manger and Mary's arms.
Our Nativity
We love having something that was made by a Singaporean artisan.
I agree! Different genders most definitely have their own unique flight pattern! Hahaha! That made me laugh so hard! She is a clever girl like her momma!
