Hong Kong LDS Temple

Photobucket
We made a little trip last week to Hong Kong so we could attend the Temple. Since we don't have one in Singapore this is the Temple for our region. We've never lived more than an hour and a half from a Temple so we are used to attending more regularly. It was a wonderful treat to go after 9 months of not having an opportunity to do so. We are very grateful we could go. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place.
Regular Sunday worship, instruction and other social and recreational activities occur in Latter-day Saint meetinghouses, or chapels. In temples, on the other hand, faithful members receive specific instruction about the purpose of life and their relationship to God.

  1. LOVE the last picture (like them all but LOVE that last one!). I so need to go back & do those photo editing classes (still haven't gotten that far!). I'll never be as talented as you in the photo department though!

  5. OK! I'm so excited you got to go to HK! Isn't it such an amazing city? The skyline is unbelievable isn't it? I love how it looks at night as well. :) The allies are strangely interesting (I took several alley shots there as well) and people really do interesting things there! I loved that city. AMAZING. It was covered in smog when I was there as well, so I'm not sure if/when it ever clears up.

I'm 1000% jealous right now just so you know! :)
